let me talk to you about elena gilbert for a second. she gets a lot of shit as a character. because of things that have happened to her. because of choices she’s made. because of choices her show’s writers have made for her. after everything, she’s still willing to let herself be happy. after everything, every mistrust and misjudgment, she still finds a way to see the good in people. elena gilbert is damn strong. and to write her, you have to get that. (among like a gillion other things that i won’t go into; because we’d be here all day long). elena gilbert is special to me, and her writers are more than special. they’re something else all together. they’re amazing. and never will there come a day when i unfollow any of them.
